About the event

During the last years we have taken large steps into the future of digitalization. It has been a necessity in the time of the pandemic – to stay competitive on a global market. We are using new ways to communicate and collaborate, and the interest for digital solutions that support working and meeting online increases - so is the interest from cyber criminals.

CYNIC - Meet will be an online event with experts from the field, both SMEs and representatives from Finnish and Swedish authorities will present their keynotes and share new insights and knowledge about cybersecurity and digitalization.

The event is open and free for everyone who registers.

R&D Developer, Centria University of Applied Sciences

Tom Tuunainen is responsible for the information security laboratory ‘Centria SecuLab’ in Pietarsaari. As a R&D Developer at Centria, he is involved in many different research and development projects. In addition to research and development, he also teaches technical subjects.

Specialist in open data, working with the Swedish data portal at DIGG - The Agency for Digital Government

DIGG is focused on building a common digital infrastructure for the Swedish public administration and their sub-contractors (and for everybody else who wants to use it), aiming to achieve a sustainable welfare society, intensify the digitalisation of Sweden and battle fragmentation. As part of this effort, DIGG is responsible for developing the Swedish data portal which is the national hub for data sharing in Europe, both data that is open and data that is shared by other means, where information security and interoperability are key aspects. More broadly, DIGG develops several digital resources as part of a digital infrastructure for all, resources that can enable cost efficient and safe IT-development.
